The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of Unikko, one of the most recognised Marimekko print designs in the world. Piirto Unikko is a stylised, airy variation of the beloved floral created by Maija Isola in 1964. It nods to minimalism while emphasising the graphic lines of the Unikko pattern.
PEPPER PLACEMAT was inspired by marled knitwear. It is an especially textural weave that incorporates multiple hues. When flipped over, the flecks are elongated into broken stripes, offering two distinct looks in each placemat.
WOODGRAIN PLACEMAT gains its distinctive look from faithfully recreated patterns originally formed by the burls, knots, growth rings, and other natural variations that make each piece of wood unique. This weave was developed with a large, thoughtfully scaled repeat to enhance the continuity and organic quality of the tonal texture.
FINK TAPAS COLLECTION | The anodised aluminium Platter has a spherical textured finish that off-sets the matte finish of the Condiment trays, and a slight undulation on the surface.
ROSTI MARGRETHE BOWL | Designed in 1954 by Sigvard Bernadotte and Acton Bjørn's design studio in Copenhagen. The bowl was named after Queen Margrethe II of Denmark (with the royal house's permission).
FOCUS DE LUXE CHOPSTICKS | The design is inspired by Korean chopsticks and are made of matte polished stainless steel with a knurled surface to make it easier to catch the food and the shafts are made in black plastic. The shape goes from being elegantly square at the top to round at the bottom.
ANIMAL FRIENDSis a beautiful children's cutlery in stainless steel. When the little rabbit, bear, cat and monkey find their way to the dining table, the children have made friends who are happy to help make the meal even more fun.
Soft greens and pinks, paired with playful shapes and lively spring colours, create an energising atmosphere while subtle neutral undertones preserve an elegant feel.
