Finnish design legend Alvar Aalto’s asymmetrical, fluid wave design for Iittala is an iconic symbol of modern Nordic interior design. Each unique Aalto vase and bowl is mouthblown at the Iittala Glass Factory in Finland, hand cut and then polished several times.

The classic savoy shape was the original design. The lower, more square proportions lending themselves to the traditional posy flower arrangements of the time.
