Tom Pen

Mad Rabbit Kicking Tiger or M.R.K.T was founded in Melbourne by Harvard trained architect, Tom Pen. After what can only be called a U-turn in his career, he went from working for "the king of luxury retail design" Peter Marino in New York City where for two years he worked on the team of architects that designed the Louis Vuitton stores in Paris, Tokyo and New York City. This exposure to fashion and Penn's eye for shape, proportion and detail are infused in his work be it oversized totes, natural materials, bold fuchsia colours and '90s-style plastic buckles all blend to create an effortlessly cool range of bags and accessories.
