The FireBox is made of corten steel. The steel is of high quality and with exceptional weathering resistance. The steel has been treated in a way that initiates the natural process of surface corrosion. This ensures that the product does not rust through. The garden wood burner naturally takes on a golden rusty colour and will continue to patinate beautifully as it is exposed to the wind, weather and use. This also means that variations in colour and surface patterns will occur and continually develop, especially due to the impact of high temperatures during use.

The outer layer is coreten steel - loose rust particles will be present and it will continue to patina and age. Be mindful of the surface you use this firebox on as staining or rust leaching may occur.
