The tall, low, cubic and bridge shapes are equal parts beautiful and timeless, sculptural and sophisticated platforms for a multitude of uses. The sharp, clean silhouette of each design stands in striking contrast to the unique patterns of stone and marble used to create each piece.

A favoured medium of the Greeks and Romans in both architecture and art, marble has come to symbolise elegance and sophistication. The Plinth builds upon and subtly subverts that essence, using marble instead as a means to showcase other items, as well as standing as a sculptural item on its own.

Each piece of carefully selected marble is assembled by hand to ensure perfectly lined up sides, so the podiums are consistent in shape and quality - yet unique in marbling pattern.

All share a low refraction index, so they allow light to penetrate a few millimetres into the surface before refracting.

Designed for use independently as well as in combination with the Plinth Grand and Plinth Low podiums – forming a bridge across the low-slung designs for elevated surface space – the sleek design is offered in a range of beautiful, natural materials: from classic White Carrera marble and the intriguing purple-veined Calacatta Viola to sand-coloured Kunis Breccia stone.
