What makes furniture good? It’s actually quite simple. Really good furniture not only looks good, but is also practical, comfortable, functional and timelessly beautiful.

For a piece of furniture to have all those qualities, a lot of people have to get a lot of things right. For example, they have to select the best materials. Then those materials have to be processed and tested in compliance with the highest standards of craftsmanship (which is why some furniture makers take an easier route). Above all, the furniture has to be cleverly designed by a person who can anticipate everything that will make it a joy to sit on, relax in and live with for many years to come.

That’s the kind of furniture COR manufactures.

Cor is made in Germany. COR is run by the same family that founded the company in the mid-1950s. Then as now, they are based in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. At this location, they have been building furniture for around seven decades, furniture that clearly reflects the passion with which it was made.
