Marla chair was born of the observation that we often sit at a chair because it happens to be placed wherever we want to sit down when, in fact, we would much rather be tucked up cosily on the sofa.‎ This turned into the idea of designing seating furniture which combines the portability of a chair with the comfort of a sofa.‎
