The Puutarhurin parhaat motif is designed by Maija Louekari. Inspired by the joys of allotment gardening, the playful Puutarhurin parhaat (gardener’s best harvest) line drawing is part of the series of prints by Maija Louekari that also includes the beloved Siirtolapuutarha (city garden) and Räsymatto (rag rug) designs.
The Vellamo print is designed by Maija Louekari, the Vellamo (female first name) pattern, is an interpretation of moving water and was inspired by the Finnish national epic Kalevala.
Marimekko is a Finnish textile and clothing design house renowned for its original prints and colors. The company designs and manufactures high-quality interior decoration items ranging from furnishing fabrics to tableware as well as clothing, bags and other accessories.
