The Shupatto umbrella closes without a belt. The fabric draws in along with the closing movement, so there is no need to gather it by hand. Doing so eliminates rainy day stress caused by getting your hands get wet whenever you close your umbrella.
Simply pull the slider inwards. The fabric will fold into on its own without a belt.
To dry, the drying stopper keeps them partially open.
