Please note: Natural cracks, knots and character with variations of tone throughout the timber are the nature of this piece and should be expected. When placed outside, the timber will take on a beautiful tonal grey hue over time.

Care instructions:
Clear matte finish will hold up well over time, maintaining the natural pale tones. Regular cleaning with a soft clean cloth to remove any dust and dirt.

With any timber finish, there will always be some degree of maintenance required. Timber being a natural piece will respond to its environmental conditions. Changing temperature, humidity, moisture, direct and reflected sunlight can all contribute to how each product ages. Wipe off spills immediately with a damp cloth, avoid extreme heat and humidity. Do not use harsh cleaners or furniture polish as this may cause permanent damage to the surface. If your furniture is exposed in a sunny spot, occasionally rotate the piece to allow a consistent all-round tone. Take care when placing or moving unglazed ceramics and other items with an irregular base that may scratch the surface. Slab or underfloor heating can be damaging to solid timber products, causing the bottom side to dry out differently to the top which can cause cracking. Ultimately the benefit of solid timber is it can always be refinished.
