BORDBAR started in 2006 when designer Stephan Boltz’s passion for vintage design led to the idea of upcycling aircraft trolleys to give them a new life as timeless design objects.

At Bordbar, they combine 250 individual parts to create a symbiosis of aesthetic design and smart functionality. Completely in keeping with the airborne counterparts they are modelled on – which is also why they come with a 30-year guarantee. The Cologne manufacturer is where the genuine one-of-a-kind aircraft trolleys are meticulously handcrafted. Robust, individual and unique.

BORDBAR VOYAGER

BORDBAR VOYAGER  A classic and a real statement piece. The Voyager won the Red Dot Award in 2021 but is pretty down-to-earth nevertheless. Its authentic selection of materials and subtle visuals featuring moulded aluminium panelling radiates love at first sight. The highly functional design means it can be combined with any of the Bordbar equipment sets.

BORDBAR BLACK

BORDBAR BLACK  (shown above with the door folded back) Sheer elegance meets precision: the Bordbar black combines monochrome visuals with the highest quality materials. Black anodised aluminium and a powder-coated black lock plate ensure a seamless look. This confident appearance is rounded off by custom-designed lightweight castors. Tone-on-tone, too, of course. Also available with custom laminations of choice to give it that special touch.

RIVET ROCKER  |  With its polished stainless steel, silver anodized frame and 400 rivets, the rivet rocker is the epitome of passionate craftsmanship and elegant design, modelled on the DC-3. This legendary aircraft model manufactured by the Douglas Aircraft Company went down in history as the "candy bomber" and inspired the design of the rivet rocker. Configurable with 24 different individual pieces of equipment, the rivet rocker is pretty much ready for anything.
