Resembling a crumpled piece of waste paper Bin Bin states its function from the moment you see it. However, Bin Bin is made for, but not made of paper. High density polyethylene ensures good durability.

'By first crumpling and then unfolding individual pieces of paper it took over 300 miniature paper bins to find the perfect one.' - says Essey designer, John Brauer.

Founded in 2003 by Danish designer, John Brauer, Essey is an innovative design company creating functional furniture, homewares and accessories. The name Essey, is derived from the word ‘essential’, which forms the core of their values and inspiration.

Brauer believes that well designed products should resemble their function. Products like Bin Bin, a trash can made to resemble a piece of crumpled paper, or Illusion, a table made to look like a floating table cloth, are fine examples of this design philosophy.

Essey’s products are made in Germany and have been the recipient of prestigious international design awards, Good Design, Red Dot Design and IF Product Design.
