The Sentiment paper weight has been cast from a hand-shaped form that captures the essence of a ripe, late-autumn pear.
Made from brass with a beautiful antique finish, the graceful design is a beautiful decorative element in an interior setting. At the touch it has a whimsical gentle sway, adding to its charm.

I love the pear and it looks amazing. I have managed to find a place for it to sit beside a marble pear and a marble apple. The disappointment lies in the fact that is does not sit firm on a flat surface and is very light - not quite suitable as a paper weight. It also is somewhat smaller that the picture on the website. I decided to not buy it when I first saw it - and I walked away. I then went back to buy it and soon realised that I should have stayed with my first gut instinct. Nice piece. Attractive. Well made - jsut doesn't quite work. I did ask if I could have another - one that actually sat on a flat surface - but I was told that they are all the same.
I am super sorry you don’t like your new pear! I really love the soft movement when you touch them and it was one of the things that attracted me to it – such a whimsy quality… but I understand if you wanted something more solid.
As I am sure you already know – if you don’t like it – please feel free to bring it back any time if i tis not the right thing for you. - Terri
